Oral tradition, interculturality and collective resistance

“Leyendas Bastardas” is the dissemination and materialization
of the outcomes of “Memorias Híbridas” (Hybrid Memories), an
artistic research and experimentation project that explores the
potential of oral tradition as an adaptive practice for creation,
social cohesion, and collective resistance.
Under this same title, I developed a podcast, performative route,

performance, publication (coming), drawings and objects creat-
ed to share the stories and legends created by a group of eight

women, born and raised outside of Spain, about Barcelona —
the city they would like to call home.
